About This Blog
Welcome to Southern Post Journal (SouthernPost.net). I’m Jacqueline D’Elia and this blog chronicles my personal journey in gardening. I live in Houston Texas (Zone 9a) where heat and insects are especially challenging. I am an organic gardener, because I believe Mother Nature is our best teacher. (If you’ve seen the movie Mindwalk, you understand.) I love clays pots, fall weather and water lilies. Join me as I share my personal experience in converting my urban space into a livable and sustainable garden. I’ve built three raised beds and am grow veggies in my three season garden.
