Southern Post Journal was recently selected for a pass along Best Blog Award by the Villager at Our Happy Acres. A delightful must-see blog. I was honored to receive it, but this meme does come with an “assignment”.

Unfortunately I am not keen on passing along assignments, so this branch of the award ends here. Not that I do not find other blogs worthy, I do. Just check my growing list of favorite blogs in my blogroll to the right.

Thank you again!

Hi Jackie~~ I also offer my congrats. And just like all emails [new-century chain letters] and such that we’re supposed to pass on, they always stop with me. With such limited time on the computer, I have to be choosy. Still the awards are fun to receive and so appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Jackie,
I have been a chain mail breaker for a long time. When chain e-mail started, I broke that too. I found that worse than regular chain mail, because it can be a bit threatening, saying you have such and so amount of time to respond, or bad things will happen to you.

As for awards, I think they are fine for those who like that sort of thing, but I am too scatterbrained to keep up with them.
