One of the features that is especially helpful is finding gardeners who are nearby in the same climate and zone. Seeing what plants they are using in their garden. With the focus today on being more environmentally responsible in the garden, it is helpful to understand how to use native plants that are suited for my climate. The friends I’ve met on Blotanical are facing the same challanges.

I love the PICKS section and enjoy seeing what others like. Having the opportunity to vote on my favorite posts makes it more interactive. It also helps me learn how to write more interesting posts myself. The forums are something I look forward to posting in, as soon as I’ve reached the 500 point threshold.
